The Hon. Louis Taylor, Chairman Louis is Director of Corporate Development at Standard Chartered Bank. He has been Chairman of Music in Prisons for 10 years and takes an active and personal interest in Music in Prisons’ work.Ruth Taylor, Vice Chair Ruth is a keen supporter of the arts within the criminal justice system and also offers her time as a judge for the Koestler Awards Scheme.Paul Meitner, Treasurer Paul is a Chartered Accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP and has served as treasurer for 9 years. He is active in his involvement and works closely with the Music in Prisons’ staff to provide general business advice as well as ensuring the smooth financial operation of the organisation.Tim Otty QC Tim is a QC specialising in commercial and public law with a particular focus on human rights. He is married to Gabriella and spends as much time as practise permits in Italy. His hobbies include marathon running, cricket, golf and supporting Liverpool Football Club.
The Hon. Sarah Price Sarah has been a key figure in Music in Prisons since its inauguration, as its first chair and founder. She offers the board her knowledge and experience of the reality of prison life and the difficulties and needs on the ground, gained from a range of voluntary activities supporting prisoners, including being on the Independent Monitoring Board at Ashwell Prison, being an official prison visitor, and from her close involvement with the Butler Trust.Eileen Mascoll (Advisor to the Board) Eileen is the first ex-project participant to become fully involved in the running of the Trust. A talented musician, Eileen will bring to the Board a deep understanding of the impact of the Trust's work and the needs of its users.Jo Rich Jo is a long-term supporter of the Trust and is involved with a range of musical organisations including the BRIT school.Her Honour Judge Deborah Taylor Sitting as a Circuit Judge dealing with crime, Deborah has first hand daily experience of the criminal justice system, offenders, and sentencing.Anne-Marie Piper Anne-Marie is a highly regarded Charity Lawyer with Farrer & Co who shares with the Trust her invaluable knowledge of charity law.Linda Jones CBE Linda's previous experience in the National Offender Management Service means that she brings with her a wealth of knowledge of the prison system which will be extremely beneficial to the charity.
